IHE Delft MENA Scholarship Programme Details:
The MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) aims to build bridges through knowledge by offering opportunities for capacity building within organisations in the Middle East and North Africa.
It enables young professional impact makers to take part in short courses in the Netherlands, and it facilitates tailor made training for organisations in the region.
The MSP focuses on building strong relations between the participating countries and the Netherlands by fostering strong alumni networks. It contributes to mutual understanding and knowledge sharing.
The programme is funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the Shiraka programme and managed by Nuffic.

Water Quality Assessment and Monitoring
This course covers the design and implementation of a monitoring network for surface- and groundwater bodies. The course consists of classroom, laboratory and field-based instructions designed to explain the theory and methodology of setting up a monitoring network with a hands-on component of planning a monitoring network in your country.
Remote Sensing for Agricultural Water Management
Develop skills to use remote sensing data for estimating high resolution agricultural water use (evapotranspiration) and biomass production for your own area of interest and utilize this data for water productivity and irrigation performance assessment.
Environmental and Social Impact Assessment at Project and Strategic Levels
This course is about the role of Strategic Environmental Assessment in guiding sectoral and regional planning towards sustainability, supporting strategic decision, and its links with the Environmental Impact Assessment practice. Participants are trained in integrating systems thinking, cumulative effects, and strategic thinking.

- After you have received an email in which we confirm your academic admission:
- Step 5: Prepare your application for MSP: employer statement (for download see below), motivation, passport, government statement (if required)
