Stamford Bridge Collapse, Palace Crash Liverpool’s Unbeaten Run, Man City Demolish Burnley With 5-1, EPL Roars Back to Life!!!

In a weekend filled with surprising outcomes, the Premier League showcased drama in abundance. Brighton mounted an intense comeback at Stamford Bridge, turning around a 1–0 disadvantage to beat Chelsea 3-1 after the home side was down to ten men due to Trevoh Chalobah’s red card. Danny Welbeck scored two goals for Brighton, and Maxim De Cuyper contributed the final goal as Chelsea’s downfall worsened their troubles.

At Elland Road, Bournemouth dragged Leeds back from the brink, with Eli Kroupi volleying home a dramatic injury-time equalizer to draw 2–2. The Cherries looked down and out, but a late set-piece gamble paid off, denying Leeds all three points.

In a thrilling match at Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace secured a late 2-1 win against Liverpool. Ismaila Sarr put Palace ahead early on, and despite Federico Chiesa leveling the score for Liverpool, Eddie Nketiah, who was substituted in, netted a goal in the 98th minute to secure all three points for the home team. This outcome brought an end to Liverpool’s flawless season start, while Palace jubilantly celebrated in front of their supporters.

Manchester City delivered a stunning performance in attacking football at the Etihad Stadium, thrashing Burnley 5-1. Defender Maxime Esteve scored two own goals, giving the visitors a nightmarish start. Burnley’s Jaidon Anthony scored a goal to narrow the deficit in the first half, but City regained dominance after halftime. Matheus Nunes netted a goal, Esteve contributed another own goal, and Erling Haaland scored two in stoppage time to secure the decisive victory.

The results highlight the Premier League’s unpredictability: clean sheets are uncommon, red cards can alter matches, and goals during stoppage time can shift despair into elation. With the advancement of the season, every twist will be felt by those vying for the title and those fighting to stay afloat—because here, no lead is secure.
